Use this 2-day lab course to complement your learning from XZEB 1120 through hands-on practice constructing and testing various air barrier systems, materials, and assembly details. In-person for 2 days (Th,F), 8AM-4:30PM*
Lab activities will cover air and thermal barrier approaches and details for foundations, above and below-grade walls, roofs, interfaces, windows, balconies, penetrations, and low-embodied carbon insulation material options.
* Optional course to earn Zero Energy /Emissions Buildings Enclosure Specialist badge.
* 24 learning hours, AIBC approved, BC Housing: 24 informal / 48 formal credits.
