The presentation will emphasize the impact of airtightness on compliance with the Energy Step Code during the design and occupancy stages. The session will cover key considerations and strategies for managing air leakage at the design, mid-construction, and occupancy stages to ensure compliance with Step Code requirements. Additionally, it will include a review of tested airtightness results for various Part 3 buildings, mitigation measures to improve airtightness test results, common pitfalls, and examples of best practices.
