On Tuesday, July 11th, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, the Township of Langley will be hosting an online builder forum to share information related to design best practices for Part 9 buildings building to the upper Steps of the BC Energy Step Code.

Differences between the lower Steps and upper Steps will be highlighted including mechanical, envelope, and aesthetic differences. An update from the Township of Langley's upcoming requirements for Step 4 and verification and submission requirements will be given at the beginning of the webinar.

Pat Cuthbert of Aqua-Coast Engineering Ltd., will give the main presentation on design best practices for building to upper Steps of the BC Energy Step Code.
