There are significant changes ahead to the Strata Property Act, for energy use, conversions and electrification of buildings across BC.

9:00am REGISTRATION OPENS & CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST

9:30am – 10:30am ZEBx and the City of Vancouver:

ZEBx will present an overview of upcoming greenhouse gas intensity (GHGi) reporting requirements in the City of Vancouver, planning for building electrification upgrades, and a preview of support programs in development. City of Vancouver will present a working outline on the essentials of heat pumps installations for strata units.

How a strata corporation will navigate the legislative barriers of the strata property act to address alteration agreements, significant changes in use or appearance of common property, upgrade requirements, and managing energy capacity

12:15pm LUNCH

1:00pm – 2:00pm BC Hydro:

The options available for electrification (all types of strata buildings & EV), the process with Hydro to upgrade or install a new system, Heat Pump and EV charging technologies that are currently available, plus grant programs and funding to support property owners.
