Cold winters in BC’s northern communities can make designing and building fully electric homes a challenge, but Northern Homecraft has risen to the occasion.
As described in this popular B2E article, they have proven that using heat pumps for high-performance homes is not some crazy concept, but a reliable, economical and climate-friendly way to keep homeowners comfortable year-round. These are the kinds of solutions that will allow homes in BC’s North to achieve the highest steps of the Province’s upcoming Carbon Pollution Standard. B2E and BC Hydro are proud to present this Decarb Lunch featuring Northern Homecraft and Ecolighten. Join us to learn about how a homebuilder and energy advisor found a straightforward way to design and build Step 5, all-electric homes in the North.
