Join the Fraser Basin Council’s First Nations Home EnergySave Program for a new learning lab focused on heat pumps!

On Thursday, July 3 from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm PT, guest speakers Richard Joseph, Certified Energy Advisor, and Dan Rodgers, Housing Manager at Gitsegukla First Nation, will share stories and lessons learned from their heat pump projects in Gitsegukla and Sik-e-dakh, BC.

You'll learn:

• Why they chose heat pumps

• How they prepared the buildings before installation

• How they coordinated funding and contractors

• Strategies to ensure that residents know how to operate the technology in their homes

There will also be lots of time for you to share your stories and questions about heat pumps, so don't be shy! Our virtual learning labs are a chance to discuss a topic with community speakers in an informal setting.
