From the BCIT High Performance Building Lab, learn from industry experts through live construction demonstrations on the assembly details, material selection and compatibility, construction approaches, sequencing, and coordination, for airtight zero energy/emissions or Passive House building enclosures.  In-person, 8AM-4:30PM for 3 days (M,T,W)*

Key topics include the airtightness, high R-value enclosure details, thermal bridging, assembly interfaces, windows, mechanical and electrical penetrations, and embodied carbon of materials.

* Required course for Essentials Net-Zero and Passive House Construction and Supervising Net-Zero and Passive House Construction microcredentials.

* 24 learning hours, AIBC approved, BC Housing: 24 informal / 48 formal credits + ESC modules 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8 equivalency
