The Engineers and Geoscientists BC Innovation in Sustainability Award recognizes the leadership roles engineering and geoscience professionals play in environmental protection and environmental enhancement, developing solutions to address changing climate and seeking to realize sustainable outcomes.
This event will provide electrical engineering considerations in decarbonizing existing Part 3 buildings. The webinar will provide an overview of considerations for holistic, long-term planning for current and future electrical needs and implications for load planning, utility and peak demand-side management, and resiliency. Participants can expect to learn about electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and heat pumps through insights, best practices, and lessons learned from their own projects.
