Integrating Renewable Energy Systems into Buildings

VI ASHRAE is proud to welcome ASHRAE Past Society President and Distinguished Lecturer, Sheila Hayter, to our February Meeting. Sheila will introduce us to technical opportunities, means, and methods for incorporating renewable energy (RE) technologies into building designs and operations. She will give an overview of RE resources and available technologies used successfully to offset building electrical and thermal energy loads. Methods for applying these technologies in buildings and the role of building energy efficiency (EE) in successful RE projects will be addressed.

Builder Forum Series - Integrated Design Process (IDP) in Part 9 Buildings

On Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 9:00 - 11:00am, the Township of Langley will be hosting an online builder forum to share information related to integrated design process (IDP) and how it can help you meet and exceed energy performance targets in Part 9 buildings. Topics include: a step-by-step on effectively conducting IDP for Step 4/5 buildings, key stakeholders in IDP, and real-life examples of buildings that have gone through the IDP process. Township of Langley updates will be given at the beginning of the webinar.
