When using low-carbon concrete, key points in the project decision-making process can make or break your chances for reducing embodied carbon. A cross-disciplinary collaboration of industry professionals has developed a new guide about how to evaluate and implement cost-effective strategies to reduce concrete’s carbon impact. Based on their lived experiences with projects in BC’s lower mainland, the findings are transferable in a pan-Canadian context.
