Join us for an engaging afternoon of education and discussion focused on new Part 3 buildings.

This session will explore cost-effective strategies for implementing the Energy and Zero Carbon Step Codes with a focus on what it takes to move from current regional energy and emissions requirements to the next step — ESC3 and EL2.

Attendees can expect a mix of insights, including a trends analysis of energy and emissions data from the past year's building permit applications, and real-world case studies highlighting lessons learned and challenges overcome — from electrical capacity constraints to heat pump integration and beyond.

There will also be a short presentation on the updated 2026 version of the Building Electrification Road Map presentation by one of the report’s authors. A panel discussion will follow, with speakers to be announced soon.
