As B.C. businesses electrify and cooling loads rise, managing peak electricity demand is becoming more important than ever.

Demand response programs are helping businesses to shift some of their electricity use out of peak demand periods, and putting money back into their pockets. Load shifting can result in a more stable and resilient energy system. Simple tactics can be employed to help commercial building owners and managers take advantage of BC Hydro’s Demand Response Behavioural program.

This 1-hour webinar will focus on demand response and explore how commercial businesses can participate in demand response events. Hear from BC Hydro’s Program Manager, Alec Zaine, who will walk through program details, eligibility and how to apply.

Plus, hear from Dennis Rañada from CBRE as they share cost-effective solutions that their organization has implemented to shift their energy use and receive financial rewards.

Join B2E’s Program Manager and BOMA BC’s Director of the Decarb Accelerator Program to learn more about demand response supports grid resilience and the broader transition to electrification.
