Learn how to use BEAM

Learn how to use our building emissions estimator to calculate the embodied carbon of your buildings. This tool will help you and your team understand your building's carbon footprint and how you can reduce it by changing the materials you build with.

▶ Our BEAM course is delivered over three 1-1/2hr sessions and will help you learn everything there is to know about BEAM.

▶ You will finish this course with a solid foundation in embodied carbon accounting, a full understanding of how to use BEAM and how to integrate this into your practice!
 

Session 1: Pre recorded, watch at your own pace prior to attending session 2.
Session 2: May 21,  9-11 am PST
Session 3: May 28,  9-11 am PST

*A certificate of attendance can be issued for continuing education credits

Exciting News!

BC building design professionals can access free BEAM Estimator training through the City of Nelson's Low Carbon Homes Pilot. This funding covers the costs for practicing or studying energy advisors, building designers, architects, engineers, or building officials in British Columbia to take the BEAM training.

BC design professionals can register & qualify through this registration form. The subsidy will remain open while funding lasts.
