Yes, we can't believe it either! It's been FIVE years since ZEBx launched with a big splash - and even bigger aspirations - in the summer of 2018.

Originally conceived as a Centre of Excellence in the City of Vancouver's ground-breaking Zero Emissions Building Plan, ZEBx has grown considerably. What started as a local initiative has now become a major supporter and enabler of the BC building industry, along with the Province and local govs building emissions-reduction goals. ZEBx has expanded its original mission to include operational and embodied emissions, in both new and existing buildings in all BC's climate zones. We also support provincial initiatives that help the building industry's workforce transition to the future low-carbon economy. Since April 2022, we are proudly part of the Zero Emissions Innovation Centre.
