Leveraging the successes and lessons learned from buildings certified under the CAGBC Zero Carbon Building Standards (ZCB-Standards), this hands-on workshop is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of how to use the Standards and their technical resources. Participants will learn and apply in-depth core requirements, guidelines and process for meeting ZCB-Design v4 and ZCB-Performance v2 certifications.

To benefit from the workshop curriculum, participants must have existing, foundational knowledge of key zero-carbon technical concepts, including: embodied carbon, transition planning, calculating the zero-carbon balance and TEDI. 

Participants missing this knowledge need to complete the CAGBC Zero Carbon Building Essentials Micro-Credential pathway prior to registering to this workshop.
